Mitchell Province Commits to UNLV Hockey
Q1: What are your thoughts on committing?
I’m excited to get back on the ice. I’m hearing good things about the next couple of years for UNLV hockey. Coaches Robone and Greener are great coaches/athletes, and I’m honored to be a part of their team.
Q2: What qualities of UNLV (school & team) stuck out as positive things when deciding to commit here?
UNLV is a premier metropolitan university where I’m planning to expand my education while playing a great sport. The UNLV hockey program consists of a training and coaching staff that are available to the players year round.
Q3: What are you looking forward to the most this upcoming season?
I’ve had the privilege of knowing and playing for these great coaches for the better part of my life. Now I look forward to working hard to bring my game to a whole new level with all new talent. My goal as a player is to exceed Rebel hockey expectations on and off the ice.
Q4: How do you feel about being a part of the group aiming towards advancing UNLV to a DI hockey team?
I’m committed to the UNLV hockey team to play in the Mountain West Collegiate Hockey League for the 2015-2016 Season. I feel fortunate to be a part of a group of men striving to bring a team to a higher level. I have no doubt that UNLV hockey will advance to a DI hockey team in one of the country’s fastest growing cities.
